Former NHL defenseman Mike Commodore isn't shy about making this thoughts known via social media. He's perhaps best known in his post-hockey career for his absolute hatred of former Red Wings head coach Mike Babcock.

He's been active on his Twitter account today for the NHL Trade Deadline, and he's now sounded off on what he thinks is going on with the Red Wings and with forward Andreas Athanasiou in particular.

First off, he alleges that GM Steve Yzerman could be entertaining multiple bids and is working to get the best possible deal:

He also believes that Athanasiou could also be following now-former Red Wings defenseman Mike Green to northern Canada to reunite with Ken Holland:

Commodore played for seven NHL teams during his career, including a brief stint with the Red Wings during the 2011-12 NHL Season. He won the Stanley Cup in 2006 as a member of the Carolina Hurricanes.
