Heading into the 2019 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions‘ biggest need, in my opinion, was a wide receiver.
Well, the draft is officially in the books and other than selecting WR Travis Fulgham in the sixth round, the position was ignored.

That being said, news broke on Thursday that the Seattle Seahawks had released former Pro Bowl receiver Doug Baldwin and it would be wise for Lions’ GM Bob Quinn to pick up the phone and make the call.
Baldwin, who is 30, had a rough go of it in Seattle in 2018 which made him contemplate retirement but I believe he still has plenty of gas left in the tank to make an immediate impact on the Lions’ offense.
What makes Baldwin a great fit for the Lions is new offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, who spent time with Baldwin in Seattle.
Not only do I think Bob Quinn SHOULD give Baldwin a call, I think Quinn WILL give Baldwin a call.
Not familiar with the work of Dougie Fresh? Check it out.
