One former Detroit Red Wings player who has shared his thoughts is Darren McCarty.
McCarty, who has said he got along with Babcock for the most part, joined Fox 2 Detroit for an unfiltered interview about his time playing for the former Red Wings coach.
McCarty talked about his time with Babcock and who the coach was the reason why the Red Wings won the Stanley Cup in 2008 and how he was the reason why they lost in 2009.
