Michigan State has landed a commitment from former Michigan Wolverines wide receiver Fredrick Moore, according to a report from CBS Sports.

Moore spent three seasons at Michigan before entering the transfer portal. During that time, he showed flashes of playmaking ability, especially in 2024 when he posted 11 receptions for 128 yards and one touchdown. His biggest moment came in Michigan’s bowl win over the Alabama Crimson Tide following the 2024 season, when he hauled in three catches for 37 yards and a score.
However, Moore’s role dipped during the 2025 season. He appeared in five games but did not record a single reception during the year, leaving room for a fresh start elsewhere. Michigan State, seeking to add experienced depth to its receiver room, has now given him a new opportunity in the Big Ten.
Moore’s addition bolsters a Spartans offense looking to improve consistency and playmaking in 2026. With experience against top competition already under his belt, Moore could be in line for an expanded role in East Lansing.
