According to a report from Howard Balzer, free-agent linebacker Christian Sam had a tryout with the Detroit Lions on Monday.

Sam, who was originally selected by the New England Patriots in the 6th round of the 2018 NFL Draft, was recently released from the San Francisco 49ers practice squad.
