Detroit hosted the Boston Red Sox at Comerica Park, where 45,027 fans packed the venue in the second largest home-opener attendance in Tigers history.
The Tigers earned a walk-off win over Boston thanks to an Austin Jackson single in the bottom of the 9th inning that scored Danny Worth.
