Our Game of the Day series continues by throwing it back to the 1997 Stanley Cup Finals between the Detroit Red Wings and Philadelphia Flyers.
Game 3 of the series was no contest, as the Red Wings blasted the Flyers by a 6-1 final score. Two goals from Martin Lapointe and Sergei Fedorov as well as Steve Yzerman and Brendan Shanahan took care of the scoring for Detroit, who improved to 3-0 in the Finals and set the stage for the deciding Game 4.
