Their next scheduled opponent is 5-0 Northwestern, and Saturday afternoon will mark a couple of firsts.
The Spartans are nine point underdogs against the Wildcats, marking the first time in three years the team has been an underdog at home, and is also the first time being an underdog against Northwestern in nearly two decades.
The two teams will kick off from East Lansing just after 3:30 PM, and can be viewed nationally on ESPN2.
Needless to say, the Spartans will be looking to rebound from their past two games in which they’ve been outscored by a whopping 73-7 margin.
