There aren’t many movie sequels more coveted than a follow-up to the 1996 sports classic Space Jam. Fans had been hoping for years for a follow-up starring the likes of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and even possibly Blake Griffin. Rumors had hiked up in the last year that LeBron James and his camp were in the process of making the sequel. Unfortunately, news had broke halfway through the year that talks had stalled and the film was in limbo. Much like Matthew Stafford’s career, however, it seems the possibility has been resurrected.

Jordan Brand’s Twitter page has seen an interesting rebrand in the last few days. Their name has changed to Monstars and they shared some very intriguing tweets.

First was the above tweet about the 20th anniversary of the original film. They followed that up with a very odd tweet.

And most recently, the Monstars posted a rather ominous video.

These all could be leading to the possibility of a second film announcement or even possibly a clothing line coming from Jordan Brand. Earlier today, multiple news reports had come out coinciding with the Twitter actions of Jordan Brand that LeBron James’ rumored casting in the sequel was still on.

I guess while we wait let’s all go back to the incredibly still-active spacejam.com.
