Giselle begs Tom Brady to retire from football

On Sunday night, Tom Brady orchestrated the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history as the New England Patriots beat the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in overtime. With the win, Brady now has five Super Bowl championships and has solidified himself as one of the greatest, if not THE GREATEST quarterback to ever play the game.

Brady joined SiriusXM NFL Radio on Monday and said that his wife Gisele Bundchen asked him to retire three times following the conclusion of the Super Bowl.

Quote from FOX Sports:

“If it was up to my wife, she would have me retire today. She told me that last night three times. And I said, ‘Too bad, babe, I’m having too much fun right now.’ You know, I feel like I can still do it. If you love what you do and you’re capable of doing it, then I might be so bored if I wasn’t going out there knowing that I could still do it. So I’m going to work hard to be ready to go, and I still plan on playing for a long time.”

If anything, Brady somehow seems to be getting better at football. During the 2016 regular season, he completed 67.4% of his passes, threw 28 touchdowns (remember he missed four games) and only two interceptions, and had a quarterback rating of 112.2, the second best of his career.

Sorry, Giselle, but Tom won’t be home for dinner on Sundays for a long time.
