Fans of the Detroit Pistons know what to do when the “Dance Cam” feature happens at home games. Everyone searches the crowd in an attempt to find Shannon Sailes the Dancing Usher for a quick dance break. His entertainment helps pass the time during breaks in the action during games. Check out the videos below for a short sample. The guy’s got moves!

Sadly, the Sailes family has been hit with personal tragedy as of late. In early September of this year, Mr. Sailes and his family dealt with the loss of his mother Catherine Sailes. Her death was tragic on its own, but, roughly six weeks later another death gripped the family in further distress. Mr. Sailes’ son, Clinton Sailes II died on October 21, 2017.

Dealing with this type of loss is incredibly stressful both emotionally and financially. In the spirit of community and comfort, a GoFundMe page has been established to support the Sailes family in this time of need. Please visit the website here for more details.

Sincere condolences to the Sailes family from all of us here at Detroit Sports Nation. Best wishes as you navigate this incredibly challenging time.
