Following the positive testing of right tackle Trent Brown, the entire offensive line for the Las Vegas Raiders has been sent home for isolation after contact tracing connected them to Brown.
The NFL announced they’re now investigating Brown, who hadn’t been consistently wearing the mandated tracking device.
“I guess they were around Trent,” Gruden said in a video call with reporters. “I can’t get into things any more than that. But hopefully we’ll get some players back tomorrow, or for Sunday.”
Head coach Jon Gruden was among the coaches that were fined by the NFL earlier this season due to failure to adhere to the safety guidelines.
“How happy am I? I’m not happy,” Gruden said. “I’m concerned. I’m really more concerned about Trent [and] his health than anything. This is COVID and I am concerned about anybody that has it or is near it.”
