Did an alley cat just turn into a rally cat? Tuesday night in Miami, a cat found its way onto the field during the Marlins – Braves game at Marlins Park. Nobody knows for sure how the feline got out there, but when it did, it scurried away from Giancarlo Stanton (I probably would too) and up the fence leading to the Marlins home run ‘gimmick’ in center field. Check it out:

The team even had to shut the home run sculpture off because they didn’t want to scare or hurt the cat if the team hit another home run.
Update: We have suspended use of our home run sculpture for the time being & are monitoring #RallyCat, who appears to be safe at the moment.

Apparently somebody didn’t get enough attention on National Pet Day.
Update: Upon being rescued safely, #RallyCat’s elusiveness persisted, and it again ran away – this time into the night. Rally on, #RallyCat! pic.twitter.com/ZbkgDpdbjr
