On Thursday, Governor Gretchen Whitmer held a press conference to give the latest update on the COVID-19 pandemic and how it is impacting the state of Michigan.
During the presser, while expressing her concerns about multiple families gathering together on Thanksgiving Day, he took the opportunity to troll the Detroit Lions.
“The more people we have in our homes talking, and eating, drinking, hugging, yelling at the Lions, the higher the risk of catching or spreading this virus,” Whitmer said.

To be fair, it seems like I do spend a solid part of my Thanksgiving Day yelling at the Lions!
Well played, Gov. Whitmer!
