During Matthew Stafford’s time as quarterback of the Detroit Lions, I made it very clear that I believed he was a Top-5 level QB in a bad situation. After all, Stafford rarely had a solid team around him and when he did, they got screwed by the refs in the playoffs!
It is ok for me to say that because the Lions are my team.
It is not ok for a player on an opposing team to say that but that is exactly what Green Bay Packers S Adrian Amos just did.
“Matt Stafford was always good,” Amos said. “He just played for the Lions.”
Sit down, Adrian! No “Happy Thanksgiving” for you, young man!
Did Stafford just need a change of scenery for people to appreciate him? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/QZdYDhizrV
