Griffins push winning streak to an even dozen, defeat Texas Stars 4-1 (w/ highlight video)

Even without Anthony Mantha, the Grand Rapids Griffins are still a force. They won their 12th consecutive game last night, a 4-1 drubbing of the Texas Stars.

Ryan SproulTomas NosekEric Tangradi, and Zach Nastasiuk all scored for the Griffins, while goaltender Tom McCollum stopped 40 of the 41 shots he faced.

The Griffins received seven minor penalties throughout the course of the game, while not receiving a single power play all night.

Next up for Grand Rapids is a rematch with the Stars in Cedar Park, Texas on Saturday evening.
