Happy birthday Gibby!

There is a moment in Tigers’ history that Kirk Gibson will forever be remembered for.

In the 1984 World Series against the San Diego Padres, relief pitcher, Goose Goosage argued with manager Dick Williams about the decision to walk Gibson and convinced him to let him go after Gibby.

What happened on the next pitch at old Tiger Stadium is something that never get old watching and for fans that actually were able to attend the game, I’m sure they get goosebumps just thinking about the history they witnessed.

Here’s what I’m talking about…

Sparky Anderson continuously saying “DON’T WALK HIM” after the ball went into the stands is priceless.
