Well, that’s one way to put it.

Michigan Football head coach Jim Harbaugh was blunt after his team’s 35-14 loss to the Wisconsin Badgers, which is drawing national criticism from fans and media alike.

“I thought Wisconsin had a great game plan,” Harbaugh said. “Executed it extremely well. Outplayed us, offensively and defensively. Things they did really well, we were unable to do.”

“We were outplayed,” Harbaugh continued. “Out-prepared and out-coached. Outplayed. The whole thing — both offensively and defensively.”

Outplayed is putting it lightly. Not only did the Badgers open the game with a 75-yard touchdown drive, but out-gained the Wolverines in total yardage, 487-299. They also had the ball for over 41 minutes compared to Michigan’s less than 20. At halftime, the Badgers led 28-0.

Despite preparing for Wisconsin for two weeks, Michigan simply didn’t match their intensity and game plan.

“We knew it about their team. If they got the ability to play good enough, they’re good enough to beat you thoroughly — and that’s what happened today,” Harbaugh said.
