It’s already time to vote for players to participate in the All-Star Game that takes place in sunny San Diego this July.
The second update of the fan vote was released on Tuesday and here are the results thus far.

The notable change from last week’s poll update is the addition of Boston outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. into the top three among outfielders, unseating Baltimore’s Mark Trumbo.
As far as the Tigers are concerned, quite frankly it is a crime to see where some of them stand at their respective positions. Miguel Cabrera is 2nd behind Kansas City’s Eric Hosmer. Royals fans are stuffing the boxes once again. Hosmer, who is indeed having a great season, has 500K more votes than Cabrera.
Elsewhere around the infield, Ian Kinsler is having a spectacular season and he’s slotted 5th. The second base position is stacked as all of them and, with all due respect to Omar Infante, someone is going to be wrongfully be left out, possibly two if this pace continues.
Ian Kinsler NEEDS to be in the All-Star Game.
Now at the hot corner, Tigers third baseman Nick Castellanos is penciled in at No. 4 and it is the Orioles’ Manny Machado leading the way. Once again, another Royal in Mike Moustakas is in the running for a reserve spot. However, Moustakas is out for the season with an ACL injury. This opens the door for the likes of Castellanos, reigning AL MVP Josh Donaldson, and even Boston’s Travis Shaw.
In the DH spot, it’ll be nearly impossible for anyone to dethrone David Ortiz from the starting role, but Victor Martinez is deserving of the second spot, especially over Kansas City’s Kendry Morales who is hitting under .200 at this point in the season.
So go and vote Cabrera, Kinsler, Castellanos, Martinez and all of your other Tigers for the All-Star Game by clicking here.
