When it comes to the fall time in Michigan, one of the best things to look forward to is high school football and everything that comes along with it. You know, the beautiful fall nights, rivalry games, and of course, the annual Homecoming game.
Well, according to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, high school football could be put on hold as she is asking the MHSAA “to consider postponing fall sports that have the impossibility of social distancing.”
Obviously, football is a sport that would certainly be included in the category that Whitmer is talking about, which means we may have to go without one of our favorite pastimes this coming fall. One suggestion is that football could move to the spring with baseball moving to the fall.
Nation, do you think postponing high school football until the spring is the right move?
