When all is said and done with the 2020 season, there will be plenty of NFL teams looking for a new head coach, including our own Detroit Lions.
Another team who is on the looking is the Houston Texans and according to reports, they have narrowed down their list to include only NFL coordinators and coaches with NFL experience.
From The Houston Chronicle:
There are national media reports that NFL teams looking for head coaches have contacted agents for college coaches like Ohio State’s Urban Meyer, Northwestern’s Pat Fitzgerald and Minnesota’s P.J. Fleck. That may be true, but the Texans aren’t one of them.
This news is something that Lions fans should certainly be interested in as this could mean the Texans will be considering Robert Saleh and Eric Bieniemy.
Personally, I think the hire will be Bieniemy.
