During a bye week in the NFL, the hope is that players have time to recover from injuries and refresh the bodies prior to the team’s next game. That seems to be the case for some Detroit Lions’ players as both T.J. Lang and Ezekiel Ansah returned to practice on Wednesday, though both were limited.

But one player, who was on the injury report prior to the Lions last game has now missed his second consecutive practice and is in jeopardy of being inactive for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.

Since coming to the Lions, Riddick has become one of the Lions biggest most feared threats for Matthew Stafford the Lions’ passing attack. In fact, Riddick has over 50 catches in each of the past three seasons and he is currently on pace to eclipse that mark once again.
If Riddick is unable to give it a go on Sunday, you can bet that Ameer Abdullah will get some extended action on third down plays.
