On Wednesday, news broke that Detroit Lions rookie tight end T.J. Hockenson was forced to leave the Lions joint-practice with the Houston Texans early after he was poked in the eye during a drill.
Though there is always reason for concern when a player leaves practice early with an injury, yes, even an eye injury, we can all relax as Lions head coach Matt Patricia gave an update on Thursday and Hockenson is good to go.
