Tigers trainer Doug Teter decided it would be best to get an x-ray to rule out a broken bone in Miggy’s hand. Fortunately, the x-ray came back negative and it is just a bone bruise.

Following the game, Cabrera confirmed nothing is broken.
“Nothing is broken,” said Cabrera, who appeared to lobby to stay in the game. “If he (trainer Doug Teter) don’t like what he sees, it’s better to get the X-ray and make sure it’s not broken.”
Tigers’ manager Ron Gardenhire said he will wait to see how Cabrera is feeling before putting him in the lineup. Miggy was expected to DH on Sunday in the series finale against the Blue Jays.
