INJURY UPDATE: Michigan WR Donovan Peoples-Jones

In 2018, junior receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones was Michigan’s top pass catcher as he hauled in 47 catches for 612 yards and eight touchdowns.

Peoples-Jones was forced to miss the Wolverines’ entire spring practice session due to a groin issue that head coach Jim Harbaugh called more serious than previously thought.

Now, according to Wolverines’ new offensive coordinator Josh Gattis, Peoples-Jones is ready to go.

From Detroit Free Press:

“He finally feels healthy, he finally feels back,” Gattis said of Peoples-Jones. “He’s been working out, now it’s about him learning the offense. Obviously he missed a significant amount of time, he’s a very smart kid, he can pick up on things, but now it’s about getting the physical reps. It’s about taking the detail and translating it over into success on the field.”

This is obviously some great news for the Wolverines and their fans as the 2019 season is less than three months away.
