Interim AD Hackett gets sneak peak at UM Nike football uniforms

If you follow Michigan football, you have probably heard the news that the Wolverines will be switching to Nike beginning in 2016.

In addition to the reported 15-year, $169 million deal with Nike, the Wolverines will also be the first football team to be associated with the Nike Jordan Brand.

It has widely been talked about whether or not the football uniforms would feature the world famous “Jumpman” basketball logo, but we may now have our answer.

Michigan interim athletic director Jim Hackett had the opportunity to see the mock-ups of the new football uniforms and revealed some of the specifics.

“(The Jumpman logo) is on the uniform,” Hackett said. “I’ve seen the design.”

So, it looks like the Wolverines football team will have a basketball logo on it. Seems a bit odd but head coach Jim Harbaugh disagrees.

“It’s going to be awesome,” Harbaugh said.

What do you think Nation, will the Michigan football uniforms look odd with a basketball logo or do you dig it?
