There is little question about it that Michigan EDGE Aidan Hutchinson is not only one of the top defensive players in the nation but one of the top defensive players in the history of the Wolverines football program.
Hutchinson proved once again on Saturday why he should be the one defensive player in the country who is invited to the Heisman Trophy ceremony as he racked up three sacks and 15 QB pressures during Michigan’s 42-27 win against Ohio State.
Up next for Hutch and company is the Iowa Hawkeyes, who won the Big 10 West to advance to the Big Ten Championship Game.
On Sunday, Hawkeyes head coach Kirk Ferentz had some tremendous comparisons for Hutchinson as he said the Wolverines pass rusher reminds him of Howie Long and John Randle from his playing days and JJ Watt from the present day.
Not too shabby.
Ferentz says Aidan Hutchinson reminds him of Howie Long and John Randle from his playing days. A comparison in this century? Ferentz went with JJ Watt.
