There is no question about it, Adrian Peterson has been the Detroit Lions best running back so far in 2020.
After being signed just before the start of the season, Peterson has played like he has been part of the Lions’ offense for years. In fact, the 35-year-old former All-Pro leads the Lions in rushing yards with 245 (4.5 yards per carry).
On Thursday, Peterson popped up on the Lions daily injury report with the designation of “illness.” It has since been reported that the illness is not related to COVID-19.
This morning at 4:13 a.m., Peterson tweeted out a simple message and some have speculated that the timing of the tweet may be a good sign or bad sign, considering his injury designation.
Pure speculation but we should keep an eye on Peterson’s health going into Sunday’s game.
