Forbes.com has published a story citing sources that claim Jabrill Peppers has signed with CAA as his agency and will be turning pro – The man himself has his objections to the article, calling it a “complete false report”. Only a few days ago Peppers stated that he was undecided as to whether he would be leaving Michigan.

Jabrill Peppers can finally give his mother a break. Michigan's star defensive player has selected Nashville, Tennessee agents Jimmy Sexton and Patrick Collins of (CAA), per sources.

It concludes Peppers' agent selection process, which included his mother's delivery of a forty-one question document to all NFL agents itching for the chance to represent her son. Peppers joins a CAA football roster of Richard Sherman, Luke Kuechly, JJ Watt, Ndamukong Suh and many other NFL standouts.
While Sexton was undoubtedly able to use his sensational experience representing players and coaches in securing Peppers as a client, Collins may have been the closer. A four-year agent at CAA, Collins formerly played football at the University of Michigan and then worked in Football Operations at Michigan from 2011-2013….

While sources have indicated that Peppers and Butt are definitely signing with Sexton and Collins, only a few days ago Peppers stated that he was undecided as to whether he would be leaving Michigan.
“I still don't know what I'm going to do yet,” he said. “I've got some decisions to make.”
