As I write this article, the Detroit Lions trail the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a score of 20-0 with 12:00 remaining in the first half!
But, as we have learned to do so well with the Lions over the years, we have found a silver lining.
During the game, Lions’ punter Jack Fox set a pair of NFL records.
According to the Lions’ PR department, through a player’s first 50 punts in NFL history, Fox has the highest gross (49.4) and net average (45.1).
As you have probably heard by now, Fox has already been named to the NFC Pro Bowl team for his outstanding efforts.
