Jack Hughes is asked about potentially playing for Detroit Red Wings and his response is priceless

On Tuesday night, the NHL Draft Lottery will take place and only one team will be lucky enough (or bad enough) to have the first crack at Jack Hughes.

The question is, which team will have the No. 1 overall pick?

One team in the running is the Detroit Red Wings, who have the fourth-best chance (9.5 percent) of getting the No. 1 pick.

Hughes will enter the 2019 NHL Draft as the top prospect available and it seems like a foregone conclusion that he will be selected first overall.

He was recently asked by WXYZ about potentially playing for the Red Wings and his response was perfect.

“I think the Wings would be sick, obviously. It’s the NHL. Anywhere you go is gonna be really cool, but family lives around here. It’d be really cool,” he said.
