At the end of November, the Detroit Tigers announced they were non-tendering catcher James McCann, which meant there was a good chance he would not be coming back for the 2018 season.

A couple of weeks later, news broke that McCann was signing a 2-year deal with the Tigers’ rivals, the Chicago White Sox.
On Saturday morning, McCann posted the following message to the Tigers’ organization and the fans.
