When will rookie WR Jameson Williams finally play for the Detroit Lions in 2022? That is a question that we have all wanted an answer to for a very long time, and we may get that answer very soon. After the Lions decided to trade up to select Williams with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Williams told reporters that he thought he would be fully recovered and ready to roll by the start of training camp. As we know, that did not happen but from the sounds of things, it won’t be too much longer until he suits up for the Lions.

What did Jameson Williams tweet that has Detroit Lions fans wondering?
Following the Lions’ big win over the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon, Williams took to Twitter and tweeted out his shortest tweet ever. That tweet, which is simply a ‘stock up’ emoji, has Lions’ fans wondering what it could mean.
Here is the tweet.
Personally, given the timing of the tweet, my best guess is that the ‘stock up’ emoji has more to do with the Lions’ three-game winning streak than anything else.
Of course, there are many who believe the tweet means Williams will play on Thanksgiving Day against the Buffalo Bills.
Dan Campbell gave an update on Jameson Williams last Wednesday
Prior to practice on Wednesday of last week, Lions head coach Dan Campbell spoke to the media and he said the clock on Williams will probably start after Thanksgiving.
“I don’t know if that’ll be the Jacksonville week or the week after. It could be next week, it’s just we’re not doing a ton. He’s close. It certainly won’t be this week and I don’t see him playing for Thanksgiving, but we’ll see where it goes.”

Though Campbell has previously said the Lions’ record will have nothing to do with when Jameson Williams makes his debut, you can bet it will be harder and harder to keep him out of the lineup if they keep winning.
Nation, when do you think Williams will make his debut with the Lions?
