On Saturday night, we lost a great one as Jamie Samuelsen succumbed to colon cancer after a valiant 19-month battle.
Since the news broke, there has been a pouring out of amazing tributes to Jamie, from 97.1 The Ticket listeners, to his current and former colleagues, to national media members.

One of Jamie's former colleagues is Mike Sullivan, who produced his final Mike Valenti show just two days ago, tweeted out what he calls “one of the most fun days I ever worked at 97.1.”
That day was in 2016, when Samuelson hosted his final show with Bob Wojnowski, before switching to mornings with Mike Stone.
