Wow. Can you believe we are already in Week 17 of the 2022 NFL regular season? Well, we are, and on Sunday, Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions will play their final home game of the season when they host the Chicago Bears at Ford Field. On Wednesday, Goff spoke to reporters and he had a message for all of the Lions’ fans who have supported him and his team during the 2022 season.
What message does Jared Goff have for Detroit Lions fans?
Here is what Goff had to say about the Lions’ final game at Ford Field in 2022.
“Yeah, it will be our last home game, we’ve had a lot of fun in front of our home fans this year, and this one we expect to be the same,” Goff said. “We know that they will be out there and be rowdy. Offensively, we want to score a lot of points for them and come out with a W.”
In eight games at Ford Field in 2022, Goff has completed 65.2% of his passes for 2,217 yards and 20 touchdowns to go along with just three interceptions. During those games, the Lions are 4-4.
With a win, the Lions would move to 8-8 on the season and they would keep their playoff hopes alive, though they will still need some help along the way.
