The Detroit Red Wings have been without captain Dylan Larkin the past two games, a win and loss against the rival Chicago Blackhawks. And according to head coach Jeff Blashill, he won’t be back for the immediate future.
Blashill said that Larkin will miss at least the next two games, tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets and then Thursday against the Carolina Hurricanes. The hope is that he’ll be back in time for next Tuesday’s tilt against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Meanwhile, forward Robby Fabbri will be a game-time decision for tonight’s game.
