Detroit Red Wings forward Thomas Vanek left during Sunday afternoon’s tilt with the New York Rangers with an undisclosed injury and did not return.
Following the game, head coach Jeff Blashill reported that Vanek’s injury doesn’t look like it will make him miss a lot of time, but that they aren’t fully clear on his status.
