The Detroit Tigers were able to rebound from their early afternoon loss today to the St. Louis Cardinals, taking the 2nd of a double header in come-from-behind fashion.

And in doing so, one key member of the team delivered on a mark that hadn't been set since 2004.
Jeimer Candelario became the first Tigers batter with two hits and two RBI, including a home run, in both games of a double-header, since Craig Monroe against the Kansas City Royals in September of 2004. His two-run, bases-loaded single in the seventh inning lifted the Tigers to the win, improving their record to 20-23.
