On Saturday, during the first half against Indiana, Michigan DE Aidan Hutchinson was forced to leave the game with what appeared to be a leg injury. Hutchinson, who is one of Michigan’s best defensive players, did not return to the game.
Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh just broke the news that Hutchinson suffered a fractured leg and will require surgery. This is obviously a devastating blow to the Michigan defense.

Michigan’s next game will be this coming Saturday when they host Wisconsin under the lights. That is, unless the Badgers are forced to cancel their third-consecutive game due to COVID-19.
Harbaugh said in the presser that UM will consult with their medical staff to determine if this weekend’s game is safe to be played. He is assuming they will play.
