Jim Harbaugh announces he is donating any incentive money he earns to those who endured pay cuts

As you may have heard, Jim Harbaugh signed an incentive laden contract extension prior to the 2021 season that actually cut his prior base pay roughly in half.

That being said, despite the base pay cut, Harbaugh did have the opportunity to earn an additional $3.475 million in incentives if he could reach certain achievements, including winning the Big Ten East (check) and the Big Ten Chanpionship game (has a chance Saturday)

Well, on Monday, Harbaugh and his wife Sarah announced they “are giving whatever incentive bonus money he earns this season back to the athletic department to distribute to those in the dept who had to endure pay cuts last year because of Covid.”

What an awesome gesture by Harbaugh!
