On Saturday, Michigan looked like the better team from the opening kickoff as they defeated the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes by a score of 42-27.
Leading up to the game, there was plenty of trash talk going on from the Buckeyes and following the game, Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh was asked if that fueled the fire.
Though Harbaugh did not really want to get into the specifics of the bulletin board material that Ohio State provided, he did have the perfect comment after the game. Harbaugh appeared to take a shot at Ryan Day, who said last year that Ohio State would hang 100 on Michigan.
“Sometimes people stand on third base and think they hit a triple,” Harbaugh said.
Checkmate!
Harbaugh refuses to call out any of the bulletin board material said. But does say: “Sometimes people stand on third base and think they hit a triple.” pic.twitter.com/D6n7Mr2dzN
