On Wednesday, Michigan quarterback commit JD Johnson announced on Twitter that he would no longer be playing football because of a heart issue.

According to reports, Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh has said he will continue to honor Johnson’s scholarship and that he has the option of joining the Michigan coaching staff when he enrolls.
