On Monday, the Colorado released a fake depth chart for Saturday’s game against the University of Michigan. The depth chart included players such as Eric Cartman starting at left tackle and Clark W. Griswold getting the nod at tight end.
Well, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh did not find the fake depth chart as funny as just about everyone else in the world did. Harbaugh joined the ‘Jamie and Stoney Show’ on Thursday morning on 97.1 The Ticket and shared his thoughts.
“I was trying to imagine how many people sat around and how many hours they worked on that.” Harbaugh said.
“We’ve just found, when it comes to the depth chart, modern technology seems to be have made the depth chart an outdated task by about 20 years,” Harbaugh said. “And we’ve found that studying last week’s film of the opponent is the most accurate way of determining another team’s depth chart.”
To be honest, the fake depth chart that Colorado put out may have just as good a chance as their real depth chart to beat the Wolverines on Saturday afternoon, but at least they gave us all a good laugh. Well, maybe not all of us!
