The University of Michigan may be the favorite to land 2024 QB Jordyn Davis, but apparently, Jim Harbaugh is not willing to put all of his eggs into one basket. In fact, according to a report from Jennifer Hammond of Fox 2, Harbaugh himself met with QB Dylan Raiola on Tuesday in Arizona. As noted by Hammond, Raiola is the son of former Detroit Lions center, Dominic Raiola.
Jim Harbaugh meets with QB Dylan Raiola
Raiola, according to 247Sports, is not only the top-ranked quarterback in the Class of 2024, but he is the No. 1 ranked player overall.
According to 247Sports, Georgia is currently the favorite to land Raiola and he has also expressed interest in Nebraska as that is where his dad played (and his uncle coaches there). But the fact that Harbaugh himself went to Arizona to meet with Raiola means there could be a shot that Michigan works its way into the mix for the ultra-talented signal-caller.
Raiola recently spoke with Chad Simmons of On3.com and revealed that Georgia, Nebraska, USC, and Oregon are among the teams he is currently considering.
Time will tell where Raiola lands, but it is nice to see Harbaugh going for the best of the best.
