If you happened to catch last night’s game between the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles, you had the opportunity to watch Seahawks WR DK Metcalf destroy former Detroit Lions CB Darius Slay.
In fact, Metcalf, who has established himself as one of the most feared players in the league, caught a whopping 10 passes for 177 yards in the Seahawks 23-17 win over the Eagles.
Metcalf has been tearing it up all season long so it’s not like he needed any extra motivation but apparently, former Lions head coach turned Eagles DC Jim Schwartz opened his big mouth prior to the start of the game.
According to Metcalf, Schwartz came up to him prior to kickoff and said, “I was in Detroit with Megatron (Calvin Johnson) but you’re not there yet.”
Metcalf said that upset him. “I had a little chip on my shoulder the whole game,” Metcalf told reporters after the win.

Way to go, Schwartz.
