Popular comedian and host of “Last Week Tonight” on HBO, John Oliver, attacked the NCAA for a solid 20 minutes last night during his show. Oliver’s stance is that the NCAA has a million sponsors, yet refuses to give players a piece of the money they make from these sponsors.
Ironically, the University of Michigan announced on Monday that it made over $46.5 million from ticket sales last season. Perfect timing, right? Oliver’s rant is posted below and definitely worth your time.
