When the Detroit Lions take the field on Sunday against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints, they will be looking to come away with what would be a huge road victory to move them to 4-2 on the season.
But beating the Saints on their home turf will be easier said than done, especially if the Lions are missing one or more of their key players.
On Friday, the Lions announced that linebacker Paul Worrilow has already been ruled out for Sunday, while six other players are listed as questionable.
Appearing as “questionable” are quarterback Matthew Stafford, defensive end Ezekiel Ansah, guard T.J. Lang, wide receiver Kenny Golladay, tackle Rick Wagner, and running back Dwayne Washington.
Stafford, as we know, hurt his ankle against the Carolina Panthers a week ago and though he was able to practice every day this week, his availability for Sunday has yet to be determined by the Lions.
Rookie Kenny Golladay returned to practice this week, but the smart money is that he misses at least one more week.
