JUST IN: Detroit Lions 2018 NFL Draft picks finalized

It may only be March but as Detroit Lions fans, football is always on our minds. With the 2018 NFL Combine in the books, it’s time to start focusing on free agency and the NFL Draft.

A week ago, compensatory picks were awarded to teams throughout the league and the Lions were not on the list. Now that everything has been finalized, including a coin flip between the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders to determine who would pick No. 9 and No. 10, we can take a look where the Lions will be drafting in each round.

As you will see below, Detroit only has a total of six picks in this year’s draft since they traded their sixth-round pick to the Los Angeles Rams for Greg Robinson prior to the start of the 2017 regular season.

Via Detroit Lions:

Round 1: Pick 20

Round 2: Pick 19 (51 overall)

Round 3: Pick 18 (82 overall)

Round 4: Pick 17 (117 overall)

Round 5: Pick 16 (153 overall)

Round 7: Pick 19 (237 overall)

The 2018 NFL Draft will be held April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX.
