Despite making things interesting in the second half, the Detroit Lions did as everyone expected they would do on Sunday at Ford Field, they lost by double digits to the Los Angeles Rams.

Though THIS season is all but over for the Lions, that does not mean all is lost. In fact, as they continue to lose (which I NEVER root for), the Lions continue to move up in the 2019 NFL Draft.
With their loss, coupled with teams like the Cardinals, Buccaneers, Giants, and Jaguars winning, the Lions now sit at No. 5 when it comes to the 2019Â NFL Draft order.
Current #NFL draft order after the 4PM games
1. 49ers
2. Raiders
3. Jets
4. Cardinals
5. Lions
6. Falcons
7. Giants
8. Bills
9. Jaguars
10. Packers
11. Browns
12. Bucs
13. Eagles
14. Bengals
15. Dolphins
16. Colts— Jason_OTC (@Jason_OTC) December 3, 2018
At 4-8, the Lions still have the opportunity to move up even higher in the draft as they now sit just one game behind (or ahead depending on how you look at it) both the Jets and the Cardinals who are both 3-9.
What do you know, the Lions just so happen to play the Cardinals next Sunday on the road. With a loss, the Detroit would climb to the No. 4 spot.
Nation, are you rooting for a higher draft pick at this point or are you still rooting for the Lions to win every game?
