According to the Detroit Lions, they have re-signed tight end, Logan Thomas.
Thomas had just been released by the Lions but they clearly let him know in advance they had the intention to re-sign him.

By releasing Thomas when they did, he was not exposed to waivers and became a free agent, which allowed him to sign with any team in the league.
From Detroit Lions:
Thomas returns to the Lions after spending the entirety of the offseason program and training camp with the team. The five-year veteran originally entered the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals as a fourth-round selection (120th overall) in the 2014 NFL Draft out of Virginia Tech.
The Lions are now back up to three tight ends on their active 53-man roster.
